چکیده

Distributed generation (DG) can be beneficially allocated in distribution power systems to improve the system's efficiency. However, specious DG's allocation and sizing may cause more loss voltage profile issues for feeders. Therefore, optimization algorithms are vital future intelligent network planning. Hence, this study proposes a multi-objective firefly analytical hierarchy algorithm (FAHA) determining optimal of DG. The function formulation is improved further by integrating process (AHP) with FA obtain weight coefficient factor (CF). performance proposed approach verified on 118-bus radial different bus at DG location (VDG) as regulated PV-bus during load flow calculations. calculated CF impact unregulated objectives have been analysed. findings show that techniques could allocate most deviation while minimizing improving distribution’s stability index (VSI). experimental results indicate able overall profile, especially PQ-buses, minimize network's simultaneously.

Optimal Distributed Generation (DG) Allocation in Distribution Networks using an Improved Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) Algorithm

Abstract: The development of distributed generation (DGs) units in recent years have created challenges in the operation of power grids, especially distribution networks. One of these issues is the optimal allocation (location and capacity) of these units in distribution networks. In this thesis, a method based on the improved ant colony optimization algorithm is presented to solve the problem ...
